Anne

Brian

Brian has an A.A. in Liberal Studies from Fullerton College and is currently majoring in psychology at CSU Fullerton.

"Tutoring is a give-give relationship: Both the tutor and the tutee bring something to the session. I try to learn something from each person I tutor." . . . Anne “Writing an essay is not always fun, but writing an essay with the assistance of others makes the experience a little easier.” . . . Brian
Chimene
Chimene has a Master’s Degree in English from CSU Fullerton and teaches at Cerritos College.
Kirstin
Kirstin, a psychology major, is in her second year at Fullerton College.
“I enjoy tutoring because I love having the opportunity to share ideas and bring together a student’s point of view and thoughts on the written page. Nothing surpasses the moment you form a connection with a student and are able to help him or her reach a desired goal.” . . . Chimene
“I believe my approach to writing and tutoring run along the same lines. I go into both with an open-mind, ready for anything.” . . . Kirstin
Lauren
Lauren is in her fifth semester at Fullerton College, where she is majoring in English.
Manuel
Manuel is in his second year as a computer science major at Fullerton College.
“The writing process can be quite painful, but it can also be incredibly rewarding. And it is because of this satisfaction that I have always viewed writing as a labor of love: I feel a great sense of accomplishment as I watch my unrefined first thoughts evolve into a final draft. Therefore, I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to share and explore the writing process with my fellow students.”. . . Lauren
“My writing advice? Think calmly and ahead of time to avoid catastrophe, and have a healthy lunch. Can’t write on an empty stomach you know." . . . Manuel
Scott
Scott is majoring in English at CSU Fullerton.
Michelle
Michelle, a graduate student in English at CSU Fullerton, has been tutoring at Fullerton College since the Writing Center opened.
“My approach to tutoring is constantly changing because each tutee is different. My goal is the give students the best tools possible to become a successful writer.” . . . Scott
